I’m Tracey Burch, and my love for the outdoors began the very first time I tagged along on a hunting trip with my dad. Ever since, the outdoors has been a part of who I am. Hunting is a family tradition for the Burchs, and we simply enjoy being outside together—whether we bring home a harvest or not.

The idea for Camo 4 Women came about during preparations for our first African hunt. As my husband and I shopped for gear, I found myself frustrated by how difficult it was to find quality women’s hunting apparel in one place. I had to piece together my wardrobe from multiple stores, and nothing quite fit the way it should. That’s when my husband said, “Why don’t you create a women’s hunting shop?” And just like that, Camo 4 Women was born.

When I first hunted with my dad, I wore hand-me-downs from my brothers and cousins. Later, when I started hunting again with my husband, the only option was men's gear—because women's hunting clothes simply didn’t exist. Thankfully, the outdoor industry is starting to recognize that women hunt too, and now we’re seeing more and more options made just for us.
